"Hi, my name is Curt. I'm a jeweler and designer by trade. I was the Head Photographer for Uptown Magazine for 10 years and also held the position of Head Photographer for Cosmos Models for 7 years.
Additionally, I have contributed to several other publications. Currently, photography is something I pursue to satisfy my perpetual need to create. I refer to my work as 'fashionography.' I have shot over 30 professional fashion shows. I particularly adore street & fashion photography, which showcases subjects in candid situations within public places such as streets, parks, beaches, malls, and other settings. For me, street photography isn't solely about capturing the beautiful aspects of the city; it's equally about embracing the 'gritty' side. I aim to avoid replicating photos that have been taken thousands of times before." My main Jewelry website is curtparker.com. |

After a decade of experience, photographing just about everything, I realized where my true passion would lie. My passion was in the conversation I found myself constantly having. “If You Could Do Anything, What Would You Do?” I was obsessed with seeing people’s dreams come true.
One day I photographed someone I knew very well and after the shoot I noticed something I wasn’t expecting. She carried herself differently. What I found was that I had the ability to show people who they really are and how the world sees them. That’s who I am. A mirror for people, so that they can see their authentic self, all while cheering them on as their dreams come to life. |
