Bespoke Apparel also maintains a showroom on the western edge of Clayton, MO. Clients can comfortably peruse fabrics, look at sample garments, and design a new outfit with one of our clothiers.

We’ve developed a refreshed foundation for our future that maintains the principles that have contributed to our success. This next chapter takes East • West beyond the retail experience, opening the space and brand to new opportunities for growth, creativity, and collaboration.
The updated East • West visual identity nods to the shop’s duality. Since its inception, the store has served as a space for divergent concepts to meet, dialogue, and blend. Sitting between the coasts, East • West brings together distinctive elements from both directions to present something wholly unique. This idea inspired the direction for the new logo. The font for “East” is industrial and modern while the font for “West” reflects the expansive, organic nature of the coast. The circle, like our shop, rests between both spaces and brings them together to create a harmonious whole. |

Levine Hat Company was established by Benjamin Levine, who before opening up, operated a cleaner in Kansas City. After damaging a man's expensive suit, he had to sell his store to replace it. Benjamin Levine had been cleaning hats at his cleaner, so he moved to Saint Louis and opened a hat store in 1903—known as Levine Hat Company.
Our store today is now ran by third generation Levine's, Edward and Carole. Their son, Lance, has since joined the business and will continue on the tradition for years to come. Levine Hat Company is the largest retail hat store in the world in terms of floor space and hats displayed. Thousands of hats are stocked in our three story building, including top brands such as Stetson, Dobbs, Bailey, Henschel, Knox, Kangol, Selentino, Stefeno, and many more. Through the years, we have sold over a million hats. We aren’t designers. We are regular guys who had a problem – clothing that seemed meant for the exclusive. We wanted “normal shirts” - something versatile and durable, with a rugged aesthetic and elevated style. We wanted to be comfortable in the city, the country, and everywhere in between. So we moved into our parents’ basement to start this polite (so far) rebellion against pretense.
