Be Bright is a lifestyle brand featuring hand-poured soy candles with strong and sophisticated scents that fill your home with joy. Our candles are formulated to have a strong "hot throw," which is how much fragrance you can smell while it is burning in your room. We only use phthalate-free cosmetic-grade fragrance oils in our candles, and wicks that are both lead and zinc free.
Be Bright candles were created by Lauren Thorp for her boutique, Bonboni Mercantile Co., in St. Louis, Missouri. After seeing our customers' excitement for our candles in 2019, Lauren created a stand-alone brand so that people across the country can have access to our candles and be inspired to live bright lives. Your purchase helps make others' lives brighter: 10% of the revenue from each candle purchased is donated to non-profit organizations that provide job skills training to women. |

Three years ago, I was turning 30 and feeling completely lost in my life. A few months prior, my mom had been diagnosed with terminal cancer. I sat down to meditate, and the idea for LARK — everything from the original branding to the products — came to me. It was the most intense experience I’ve ever had. After my meditation, I looked over to a tree and a flock of tiny larks flew out.
This wasn’t the beginning of my obsession with clean ingredients; that started a few years prior I when I became pregnant with our son. But it was like my knowledge and passion aligned and for the first time in years I felt a sense of purpose. I got to work right away launching the brand and developing the products. I channeled all my grief and my anger into my work, creating a line of products that are safe, multi-functional and effective. My mom was there cheering me on the in those early stages, and she was excited to share in what I was doing. My mom passed away in October of 2016. She was the strongest woman I’ve ever known. She fought (and beat) three other forms of cancer before her relapse. She was a woman who refused to give up no matter the odds. I’m proud to be her daughter. I carry my mothers legacy and spirit with me in everything I do, and I channel her strength when times get hard. She’s the inspiration behind this brand and the driving force behind the products. Our vision, team and product line has grown exponentially since those first few months. We opened up our first brick-and-mortar in 2018 and we now offer Holistic Facial Treatments in our Shop — the first of it’s kind in St. Louis. I created LARK because I truly believe that safe skincare should be accessible to everyone, and that beauty and wellness go hand in hand. I believe in building a space for community and connection where we can offer natural alternatives to traditional beauty products. Thank your for your interest in LARK Skin Co. We hope you will try and love them for yourself! XO, LISA DOLAN |

Perennial is a community workshop and store in St. Louis, MO that offers educational programming in creative reuse to diverse populations and sells handmade DIY kits and tools for reuse projects. We turn trash in to amazing items and teach the community to do the same!
Established in 2011, Perennial is a non-profit dedicated to creative reuse—the process of artistically transforming discarded goods into objects of worth. The concept for Perennial developed from the work of community artist and educator Jenny Murphy after creating numerous projects and programs leading diverse populations through the process of creative reuse. With the help of a passionate grassroots board, Perennial was established as a resource for the St. Louis community to discover ways to reuse objects, reduce waste, and live a sustainable and self-sufficient lifestyle through the power of their personal creativity. In its workshop, Perennial teaches creative classes covering topics from eco-refinishing, to upholstery, to building new furniture from pallets. Perennial offers these educational programs to the public and partners with area social service agencies to engage women in transition in outreach programs. Perennial’s space also serves as a retail outlet for Perennial merchandise, the revenue from which supports the organization’s educational programs. |

I'm Dee and the face behind Do Me a Favor. I started this business in 2014 making custom ceramic coasters for friends as Christmas gifts. Over time I knew I wanted my designs to have more life and be offered in other ways. I took a leap in the midst of the pandemic and bought sublimation equipment. As the saying goes, the rest is history!
Do Me a Favor is a curated shop filled with trending and FUN designs perfect for you. Whether you're shopping for yourself, a best friend, a co-worker or mother in law, you'll find something here. Everything is made to order and given the special attention it deserves. When I'm not making apparel and favors, I work full time in the finance industry and a wife and mom to two sweet boys. Busy busy! |
